Bachmann must not belittle hurricane
Readers are of course aware that the massive Hurricane Irene swept up the East Coast this past weekend leaving extensive flooding, wind damage, widespread power outages and a multitude of casualties in its wake. What readers may not be aware of, however, is that this was not your average natural disaster. In fact, it was an act of God, a sign warning American politicians to take heed of the public's discontent — at least, it was if you take Republican presidential candidate Michele Bachmann seriously.
