A New Brunswick man was charged Friday for trespassing on the 30 Easton Avenue parking deck while naked.

Around 12 a.m. on July 22, Rutgers officers patrolling the parking deck observed suspicious activity by a male who was alone and naked below the waist, said University spokesman E.J. Miranda.

Police proceeded to investigate and arrest 26-year-old James Butler, a New Brunswick resident who is not affiliated with the University.

The officers charged Butler with possession of drug paraphernalia, possession of marijuana, lewdness and trespassing.

The parking deck is part of the University Center at Easton Avenue, a 12-story student apartment complex that also includes a student health club and retail space.
