Wellness On The Go offers massages, yoga, henna tattoos and other services to student organizations at locations all across campus like the College Avenue Gymnasium. The program hosts select events during finals week that help students de-stress.
Since the Hillel House opened its doors on College Avenue, members have noticed a growing community of students. Benjamin Bass, Hillel’s newly elected president, said he hopes to expand that community to other campuses.
Next to their father Philip Mazzini who died in 2016, Sophia Mazzini and Artemis Mazzini, the founders of Into the Light, started a 5K run/walk to help spread awareness for mental health. It is in the process of becoming a club at Rutgers.
Among his list of proposed expenditures for fiscal year 2019, Gov. Phil Murphy (D-N.J.) said that he plans on revamping the NJ Transit system commonly used by students and faculty on their daily commutes.
