Rutgers student lands in hospital after robbery on College Ave
An assault and robbery on the College Avenue campus last Sunday has landed one Rutgers student in the hospital.
According to the Rutgers University Police Department, two unidentified males approached the victim on the sidewalk in front of Ford Hall, nearby Scott Hall at 63 College Ave., at approximately 10:15 p.m.
One perpetrator assaulted the victim and stole his possessions, according to RUPD. Both assailants then fled toward the direction of Seminary Place.
No weapons were involved in the assault, according to RUPD. A local hospital is treating the victim for non-life threatening injuries.
The victim’s description is limited at this time.
