CCPO issues charges for shooting incident at Rutgers—Camden last week

On February 14, the Camden County Prosecutor's Office (CCPO) issued several charges against Malcolm Jordan for a shooting incident at Rutgers—Camden last week, according to a press release.

On February 13, Jordan shot at another individual several times on Lawrence Street, which traverses the Camden campus. The victim was subsequently transported to Cooper University Hospital by a personal car.

Three days later, on Friday, Jordan was arrested in Philadelphia. He has been charged with a total of five crimes, including first-degree penalties. These charges relate to attempted murder, unlawful possession of a weapon, unlawful use of a possessed weapon and aggravated assault with a firearm.

Neither Jordan nor the victim are University-affiliated students, according to the article.
