Women’s advocacy group drives campaign to change Rutgers’ hiring policy
After Peter Ludlow faced charges in February for sexually assaulting a Northwestern University student, it was revealed that he was a candidate for a position at Rutgers. Sarah Beth Kaye, a School of Arts and Sciences junior, believes this case is not unique because it happened, but because it is known. Kaye, president and founder of Women Organizing Against Harassment, an on-campus Rutgers group for eradicating sexual assault and gender violence, said a college should foster an environment where students feel comfortable to learn from professors.Apr 8 2014
