Students create brain-controlled prosthetic hand
For people who are amputated on the forearm, the prospect of having a responsive prosthetic hand and wrist is right around the corner.
A group of five Rutgers biomedical engineering seniors in the School of Engineering, Mohit Chaudhary, Chris Bargoud, Julian Hsu, James Wong and Rebecca Wenokor took on their senior project, “Brain-Controlled Dexterity Upper Extremity Prosthesis”, developing prosthetic hand and wrist that operate according to brain signals for a current Rutgers student.Feb 2 2015
