Rutgers exchange student wins $1.4 M. after being struck by vehicle in crosswalk

An exchange student at Rutgers in 2016 has settled for $1.4 million in a lawsuit after she was struck by a vehicle at a crosswalk while jogging from Busch campus in Piscataway. She was jogging along the John A. Lynch Sr. Memorial Bridge that brings Route 18 over the Raritan River, to Buccleuch Park in New Brunswick, according to an article by New Jersey Law Journal. 










'Take Back the Night' march demonstrates solidarity for survivors of sexual assault

More than one hundred students bearing signs and posters marched down George Street on Wednesday evening, starting from Douglass campus and ending at the College Avenue campus to “Take Back the Night,” an event organized by Women Organizing Against Harassment (WOAH) and Violence Prevention and Victim Assistance (VPVA).


Molloy shares his career experiences before becoming Chancellor

Chancellor of Rutgers University—New Brunswick Christopher J. Molloy spoke to students at the Ernest Mario School of Pharmacy on Wednesday. Molloy spoke about job options for pharmacy students. He has a long history of experience in the pharmaceutical industry, which began after he received a Ph.D. in toxicology from Rutgers. 







Rutgers administrators, top professors given $5.5 M. in 'incentive pay'

Rutgers gave more than $5.5 million in “incentive pay” to approximately 700 top administrators and professors last year. The “at-risk” or “incentive pay” method for distributing payments based on their job performance is added on to their base salaries, according to an article by NJ Advance Media.
