State officials continued to monitor the spread of the coronavirus disease (COVID-19) throughout New Jersey this week as they looked to further reopen the state. As of today, New Jersey has had 174,628 cases statewide with 13,532 deaths, according to the New Jersey Department of Health.

New Jersey officials continued to take steps to further reopen New Jersey following its closure due to the coronavirus disease (COVID-19) pandemic. The total number of cases throughout the state now stands at 170,584 with 13,060 deaths, according to the New Jersey Department of Health.






Rutgers students join together to plan protest against racism, police brutality

Rutgers students from a variety of organizations are holding a protest against racism and police brutality at noon tomorrow at Brower Commons on the College Avenue campus. The protest is one of many across the country sparked by the death of George Floyd, an unarmed Black man, at the hands of Minneapolis police officers. 







Murphy takes more steps to reopen state, Rutgers offers temporary policy change for future applicants

Gov. Phil Murphy (D-N.J) and other state officials have taken further steps this week to reopen and aid the state’s recovery from the coronavirus disease (COVID-19) pandemic. There have been 158,844 positive cases and 11,531 deaths in New Jersey as of today, according to the state’s COVID-19 Information Hub.
