Center of College Avenue Campus to be renovated, Barchi says

University President Robert L. Barchi, in an email to the University community, highlighted Rutgers’ accomplishments over the past seven years in his University Senate report, including raising the amount of research achieved, the establishment of honors colleges and Rutgers Biomedical and Health Sciences (RBHS) and the University's transition to the Big Ten.

The Rutgers School of Public Health hosted a half-day conference titled “Reducing Youth Involvement with the Criminal Justice System” last Thursday, which addressed the youth-to-prison pipeline among students in Newark and throughout the state.



Rutgers Cancer Institute of New Jersey may build on school site

The Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital (RWJ), which is part of Rutgers Biomedical and Health Sciences, is looking to potentially build the new Rutgers Cancer Institute of New Jersey on the land currently occupied by the Lincoln Annex School, a facility of approximately 750 students in the New Brunswick Public School District.

In 2013, while giving a speech advocating for a new treaty with the European Union (EU), former British Prime Minister David Cameron offered the British a chance to determine the future of their country when he said, “And when we have negotiated that new settlement, we will give the British people a referendum with a very simple in or out choice. To stay in the EU on these new terms, or come out altogether. It will be an in-out referendum”.
