Filling out job and extracurricular applications are an exciting but nerve-wracking process. We often spend hours tweaking our resumes and curriculum vitae, editing our cover letters and perfecting our essays with friends, family or career advisors.

Two experts of film discussed their experiences and commented on the gender issues they see in the film industry today.

Rutgers announces release of newest publication of Scarlet and Black Project

As part of the Rutgers Scarlet and Black Project, the University announced the release of a new book that discusses the story of the school’s first Black students and their treatment on campus, according to a University press release. The purpose of this book is to look at the historical relationship Rutgers had with race.

Baker provides consistency and leadership for Rutgers

This past Sunday afternoon, the Rutgers men’s basketball team's co-captain, junior guard Geo Baker, achieved a career milestone. After putting up 16 points in a loss against Wisconsin, Baker surpassed the 1,000-point mark for his collegiate career. The Scarlet Knights' (18-10, 9-8) guard averages 10.7 points per game (PPG) this year and 11.3 PPG over the span of his career. Baker is the 44th player in Rutgers history to reach the 1,000 point milestone. 

Rutgers professor to join National Academies of Sciences, Engineering, Medicines committee

Hudson, professor and research division chief in the Department of Family Medicine and Community Health at Rutgers Robert Wood Johnson Medical School (RWJMS), has been selected to serve as a member of the National Academies of Sciences, Engineering and Medicines Committee on Implementing High Quality Primary Care.
