Three Rutgers alumni run for Board of Education, advocate for Lincoln Annex School

The New Brunswick Board of Education is holding an election on April 21. Three candidates, Jerry Mercado, Reginald “Reggie” Parker and Linda “Lindy” Stork, are Rutgers University alumni and running for the Board on a “Students First” platform and advocating for the preservation of the Lincoln Annex School. 










Sequel to film 'To All the Boys I've Loved Before' disappoints

The first article I ever wrote for The Daily Targum was in October of 2018, during my first year at Rutgers. It was a rather lengthy and opinionated analysis of the Netflix hit “To All The Boys I’ve Loved Before,” written by a naive romantic-comedy fanatic who wore her rose-colored glasses with great pride. Since then, much has changed in terms of my worldview of romantic optimism, but there is still a lot to admire in this film. 









Motor Vehicle Commission offers option to change gender identification on licenses

Sue Fulton, the chief administrator of the New Jersey Motor Vehicle Commission (NJMVC), announced on Thursday that customers will now be able to change the gender designation on their New Jersey driver’s license or other identification card without a doctor’s note, according to a press release from the NJMVC.
