Ceiling tiles in multiple rooms at the Rutgers Psychology Department building on Busch Campus have been found to be infested with mold. Faculty working in the building said the problem has gotten worse since August.

Pictured is a lab in room 221 of the Psychology Department Building. Tiles are missing due to the mold and three recycling bins have been stacked to prevent water from leaking onto the ground.

Members from student activist organizations met at Brower Commons yesterday and discussed experiences of their own and those of people they know with sexual misconduct. This comes as the Senate is expected to make its decision on Supreme Court nominee Brett Kavanaugh later this week.

The Rutgers faculty union represents 20,000 workers who are currently working on expired contracts. At Friday’s University Senate meeting, protesters from the union made their voices heard through chants, calls for action and solidarity.

A small fire caused by a faulty heating unit at Shell gas station on Easton Avenue was quickly assessed by the New Brunswick Fire Department before any further damages occur.
