Businessmen discuss responsible investing

Robert Goellner and Max Mintz believe Socially Reponsible Investing is the investing strategy of the future. Goellner and Mintz, employees for the SRI-based company Common Interests, discussed their views yesterday at the Canterbury House on Mine Street. The Rutgers chapter of Giving What We Can, a philanthropic club, invited the two to speak based on Mintz’s experience with the organization during his time as a student.

Program focuses on treating young AIDS patients

The Robert Wood Johnson Pediatric AIDS Program traces its roots back 30 years to the beginning of the AIDS epidemic in the United States. Although the face of AIDS has changed, the program remains to assist an important sector of AIDS patients — children and teens. RWJAP is a joint program between Rutgers and Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital.


Slam team’s poem gets more than 150,000 views

Often whispered about, the topic of rape was given a voice by four members of the Rutgers University Slam Poetry Team. They were anything but quiet when they performed their poem, “Rape Poem To End All Rape Poems,” this past March at the 2014 College Unions Poetry Slam Invitational in University of Colorado-Boulder.
