Rutgers takes 3rd at Mountaineer Invitationals after hot start

The Rutgers men’s golf team finished up play in Bridgeport, West Virginia on Tuesday at The Health Plan Mountaineer Invitational. As a team, the Knights finished third out of the 16-team field to secure their highest finish of the season as they continue to improve each week. Rutgers shot an 868 (4-over-par) in the three-round tournament at Pete Dye Golf Club.

Rutgers set for next challenge at Mountaineer Invitational

The Rutgers men’s golf team heads to Bridgeport, West Virginia on Sunday for its third tournament of the fall. Formerly known as the Mountaineer Intercollegiate, West Virginia University has paired with The Health Plan for the first annual Health Plan Mountaineer Invitational. The Scarlet Knights will look to keep their momentum rolling as they enter the Invitational.

Whatley wins individual title as Rutgers takes seventh at Janney Invitational

The Rutgers men’s golf team wrapped up play in Richmond, Virginia on Tuesday as they completed their second tournament of the fall at the Janney Invitational.  As a team, Rutgers finished seventh out of the twelve team field and shot an impressive 4-under-par through the three-round tournament, a much-improved performance from their 25-over-par, thirteenth place finish last week in Madison at the Badger Invitational.
