The Rutgers University Police Department (RUPD) has charged Jose Paulino with criminal attempted sexual contact for a reported failed assault that happened at approximately 6:40 p.m. on Tuesday, according to a University-wide email alert.

Paulino has also been charged with criminal sexual contact and harassment for the four attacks that occurred Monday evening.

The RUPD conducted an investigation, and it was able to identify, arrest and charge Paulino after Tuesday's attack near Easton Avenue and Hamilton Street.

The RUPD asks anyone who may have been in the area during the incidents or with information about the crimes should contact the RUPD's Detective Bureau.

The RUPD reiterated in its most recent email alert that it would have an increased public safety presence in off-campus areas.
