Senior cneter Rachel Hollivay elevates to finish a putback in the third quarter of Rutgers 67-54 win over Illinois at the RAC Wednesday night. Hollivay posted a double-double with 14 points and 14 rebounds while shutting down the Illini's most potent offensive threat, center Chatrice White.

Sophomore forward D.J. Foreman's final field goal attempt was symbolic of his team's performance against Ohio State. Foreman attacked the lane with a minute remaining and went up for the dunk, but despite his valliant effort, was unable to get the basket and fell flat on the court.

Eddie Jordan pointed out the lack of effort in Rutgers' most recent loss, a 34-point drubbing at home against Nebraska, as a factor that was not visible in any of the team's previous defeats. The third-year head coach has played the past two games with just seven scholarship players, but hopes freshman Jonathan Laurent (head) and senior center Greg Lewis (knee) will be available to give the Knights a boost as they look to regroup at Ohio State.

Greg Lewis makes an attempt for the basket after Glynn Watson Jr. gets called for the foul on tripping in the first half of Saturday's Big Ten matchup between Rutgers and Nebraska at the Rutgers Athletic Center. Lewis, who posted six points and four rebounds in 24 minutes, suffered a knee injury in the game. Head coach Eddie Jordan said his status is uncertain moving forward, but Lewis said he hopes he can still practice to aid the Knights after they fell to 0-4 in Big Ten play with the 90-56 loss to the Cornhuskers.

Freshman guard Corey Sanders believes he's made up for his mistakes that caused head coach Eddie Jordan to start his leading scorer on the bench for the past two contests. Sanders hopes to start against Nebraska Saturday after he scored a team-high 16 points in Rutgers 88-63 loss to Maryland Wednesday.

Defended by Jake Layman, Omari Grier glides to the rim Wednesday night at the Xfinity Center in College Park. The long, 6-foot-9 Maryland forward stifled the 6-foot-4 Rutgers graduate transfer for much of the night on both sides of the floor. Grier had 13 points on 4-for-9 shooting, but the Knights couldn't keep up with the No. 3 Terrapins in an 88-63 blowout loss.
