The Rutgers Paintball Team will be traveling to Florida on April 21 to compete at national championships. This will be the team's third year at nationals, and after climbing more than 40 spots in the rankings, Rutgers has their eyes on the gold.

The club is more of a loose assortment of twenty-somethings (as well as some older folks) who come to see free science lectures presented by real scientists.  The people who come are not scientists, but really love science.  The last time the Secret Science Club got together, Wednesday Nov. 7, there were two hour long presentations.  The first to present was David Maiullo, of the Rutgers University Physics Dept.  He used a cannon that shot out smoke rings to demonstrate fluid mechanics.  The cannon was made out of an old metal garbage can.

Mason Gross School of the Arts held its “Undergraduate Annual Art Open” Tuesday, where students submitted artwork inspired by the “city and myth” gallery theme.

Senior Monroe Kearns was one of seven Rutgers middle-distance runners to compete in last weekend’s Larry Ellis Inviational. He qualified for the Big East Championships in the 800 meter with a time of 1:52:32 and will compete in the 4x800-meter relay.

Senior Mickenzie Alden, above, started every game to date during
her final season and led the Knights to their first Big East
Tournament appearance a year ago. Depending on the outcome of its
series with visiting DePaul, Rutgers can put itself in solid
position to return to the Tournament for the second straight
year.
