Spring break is almost here. Even if you're not spending it sunbathing on an island, you can still enjoy a refreshing, iced beverage. This frozen sangria takes its cue from Spain. It incorporates red wine, frozen berries and lime juice for a twist on the classic. Make this Rutgers-inspired red drink for your friends at home and spread your school pride.

Whatever red wine you have on hand will work for this recipe. Definitely don't splurge on anything expensive. If you have a choice, a drier red wine is better. Any frozen berries are fine — I used a mix of strawberries, blackberries and raspberries. If you want to make this recipe virgin, swap out the wine for cranberry juice.

Ingredients:

- 1 cup red wine (or cranberry juice)

- Handful of red wine ice cubes (regular ice cubes are fine too)

- Juice of 1/2 lime

- 3/4 cup frozen mixed berries

- Honey, for sweetening

Combine all the ingredients in a blender and blend until smooth. Have a taste, then add honey as you see necessary. Pour into a glass, garnish with lime and enjoy.
