Police investigate suspicious break-in on Stone Street

The New Brunswick Police Department (NBPD) is currently investigating a breaking and entering incident that occurred on campus early this morning.

NBPD reported that a victim, who is affiliated with the University, awoke around 4:45 a.m. to find an unidentified man in her bedroom. The man subsequently fled the scene.

The incident took place in a residence located on Stone Street, between Sicard Street and College Avenue.

The suspect was described as a black male, approximately 6 feet tall and weighing 160 pounds. He reportedly has short braids in his hair and was wearing a dark zip-up hoodie and black pants at the time of the incident.
